La cittadina, as the Italians call the charming main town of the 3 Zinnen Dolomites region, San Candido, is a neat counterpart to the imposing mountain world. The historic centre is inviting and reserved for pedestrians, for unmolested and environmentally friendly strolling. The village with city flair can be reached in 30 minutes on foot, 15 by bike and only three by car.
